There are numerous options for care services from home care to adult day to assisted living to nursing home to hospice. Learn about and discuss different care options based on care needs, personal desires and finances. 

During the course of the diagnosis, there are often behaviors that families may find challenging. We will discuss behaviors and brainstorm possible interventions to help minimize the impacts of these behaviors. From resisting care to wandering and repetitive actions. 

The use of private caregivers is often a solution for many families. Personalized training for caregivers will be beneficial to your loved one and the care providers. 

When touring a nursing home, assisted living or adult day care, many families only look at the physical environment. But there is so much more to look for and questions to ask. I will join you on these tours of facilities and/or provide questions to ask.
